This is a Linux live-CD built using Debian's live-helper package. It is based on Debian 5.0 (lenny).

The CD has serial console support, so you can work on a headless computer over a serial cable. The serial console is on the first serial port and runs at 9600 bps (9600n8).

The code is in a Git repository (web).

Building ISO

To build the ISO, you will need the live-helper package. See the Debian Live home page.

To build the ISO:

cd live-sc
lh config
sudo lh build

The ISO will be named binary.iso.

Notes

• Boot loader has 10 second timeout
• Boot load has serial console enabled
• Network autoconfiguration is disabled
• Most services disabled at boot
